what affiliates programmes do you use?

Im looking for affiliates to promote on my site, but I dont really know how.

How do I make money form it?, Do affiliates put products theyre selling on my sites, then I get commisioned based on if they get a sale from me?

Which affiliates are best? what niches do are they based in?

You put links on your site that lead to their products. If they make a sale you get a % or flat amount. I make most of my money with amazon, but if you just google products related to your niche and click on sites that have something to sell, you can look for their affiliate programs if they have one set up.
