Further Spam / Limitations

Over the last few days the spam issue as been so much better, I have not had to delete or remove any spam bots since implementing the changes mentioned before.

However to further deter & combat spammers and to increase the quality of posts within the forums I have Integrated some limitations.

Now to enable the PM Feature and to post Vistor Messages on users profiles, you now need to have a minimum of 2 Posts.
Also to Post Links / Images / E-mails within threads, you need to have a minimum of 2 Posts.

Depending how things go I may alter the required minimum post count but on other forums 2 - 3 has usually worked well.


Usergroup / Promotions

When you reach 30 Posts and you have been registered for atleast 7 Days, the system will automatcially promote your usergroup which will then Enable.

Hidden Sections, which include Cookie Stuffing & Xrumer.
Live Chat, these will be used for live chat / teaching lessons.
Signitures, you will be enabled access to create a signiture.

We will also be working on adding additional Features & Access to both the Promoted and VIP Usergroups.


Note:
I dont want to see a big increase in useless posts, e.g. opening up a thread and just saying: Hi

or responding just a few words in response to someone elses to increase post counts to enable the limited features.

These types of posts will not be accepted and anyone making these type of posts will be suspended.

I think this should be sticky. Give the Cookie Stuffing forum a forum description stating "Members need 30 Posts and you have been registered for atleast 7 Days to access this forum." Ive seen few threads in the past were new members ask why they cant access the CS section.

Im shortly going to create a thread which new members will be required to read and accept before continuing with the site.

i believe that cookie stuffing forum should be allowed only to users with maybe 60 to 100 posts and join up till at least 3 months would be great. this would prevent too much people from jumping into the forum to buy and use the script as cookie stuffing sub forum is hard to find these dats.

yes it will be nice idea and will stop the spams and fake members..
