is this somekind of backdoor
Google Alexa boosting script.
You'll get the idea.
In the case of Alexa everyone found a way to simulate the alexa toolbar.
I would argue that any system that falls victim to that isn't likely to be taken seriously.
A "ping" is a method of saying "hey, you there?". It has its own packet delimiter and is handled machine level. So if you ping google.com your getting a response with the DNS resolution TTL data and response time.
When people say ping in the above context they mean a request. It's a request with no response, though. It could be a file or even a 404 error page.
There also exists a ping function used by the new .net converts. Using XMLHTTPRequest you can do a lot of interesting stuff like parse a JS and "ping" every link (send a GET with forged header information passing the real visitors IP and referer).
It's not a bad idea considering the viral nature of it.
10 people doing it may not seem like much but if you have 500 people who ever owns that site could dominate in the engines.
Has anybody tried this?
So with XMLHTTPRequest is possible to use 500 user of a site and make it 1500 ON three other web site?
@OP-
how long have you used this? i understand autosurf programs and the impressions would be really the only benefit to this program. has anyone showed at least success from the impressions counting?
Yeah. It’s good to be yourself. Same with you, I will try to do something. So I support your decision!
has anyone done this and seen an improvement to traffic?
this is some kind of fake hits generator script which uses proxies to generate hits .
as far as i know sending fake hits generated by proxies will lead to degradation your domain and google will penalize for this
i dont know if its a good idea or not
but still thanks for sharing this,i'll try it on a free domain first to see how it works
