Whitehat Version

Find high page rank blogs that use the top commentators plugin. Then comment on them, using your anchor text as your name. Even if the comments are no follow on those blogs, the links in the "top commentators" section are do follow. With a small number of comments, you can make it into that top, and get a sitewide backlink from that website.

Example: onemansblog.com is a PAGE RANK 7 website. You can get into the top commentators list and get a sitewide page rank 7 backlink to your website with ONLY 5 comments.

I am in the process of making a bigger more useful list, but till that moment you can use those. Just find high page rank blogs with small number of comments, comment on them using your name as the anchor text and you will get a high page rank backlink to your website.

Simple as that. No need to pay 100$ monthly for a pr 7 backlink or similar amounts.

Blackhat Version

This method has the advantage that WILL GET YOU in the top commentators list WITH ONLY ONE COMMENT. How is that?

The top commentator plugin, by default, identifies the commentators according to their name. Therefore, if you post a comment using a name already in the top commentators list, and write your website as the url, the plugin will update the top commentators plugin and will link back to your website instead - thinking that you are the same person as before, but you just changed your website.

The downside of this method is that you can not choose your anchor text, you just have to go with the names of the top commentators.

Good luck spamming. Let me know if you encounter any problems. I have used these tricks successfully for a long time now, and google DOES pass se and pr juice to those links- although maybe it won't be for long.

Let me try to understand this better. If we are using the black hat method, do we need to find the person that is in top 10 for the most posts on that blog? If so, is there a way of finding that person?

You can dream you will get a PR 7 link from comments but for that to happen the page where you let the comments must heave PR 7 (not doamain PR) and dofollow enabled..so i recomand the Firefox addon for checking dofollow links first. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5687

Dofollow isn't always important but it is a good thing to look out for.

This isn't a new tactic/method or even a blackhat method. It should only work on low PR sites where the admin isn't up to snuff. Just like blog comment spamming it is very easy to fix a problem like this. For wordpress they just added a blank referer check to stop the spammers.

Its not black hat, though. Your only doing exactly what you are supposed to. If the software were working correctly there would be no possibility of a duplicate name. In almost every case comments are stored in the DB so if this exploit is still in action, it is 100% legit.
