From the stuff I've read, they started using a URL shortener for the Web 2.0 properties. So Senuke has to go through their servers to get to the sites. And at that point it tries to verify the credentials.

smart move, also its going to be very intensive server wise for them, the additional revenue from those that will now choose to subscribe to the product will out way that im sure.
