    Default Step-by-step cookie stuffing

Here is a quick guide to stuffing a basic image cookie. When you have done this you will need to adapt it because it will be easily picked up by affiliate managers. But there is enough call for a basic walkthrough for me to do it so here goes. Step-by-step. Guided

What you will need for this guide:
Amazon affiliate ID (I use this for testing as the payouts are crappy)
    An FTP client
A website with hosting (I will be using Hostgator)
A text editor (Wordpad/Notepad work fine)

    1) Log into your Amazon affiliate zone and get a text link for any product, which will look something like this:
    Code:
    <ahref="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FI73MA?ie=UTF8&tag=YOURAFFILIATEIDHERE&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000FI73MA">Kindle:Amazon'sWirelessReadingDevice</a><imgsrc="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=YOURAFFILIATEIDHERE&l=as2&o=1&a=B000FI73MA"width="1"height="1"border="0"alt=""style="border:none!important;margin:0px!important;"/>

OK let’s cut it down a bit so we just get the aff link, open up your text editor and paste the following in there
    Code:
Amazon.com: Kindle: Amazon's Original Wireless Reading Device (1st generation): Kindle Store

I leave product details after the affiliate link as I don’t like directing someone to the homepage, I prefer to link to a product, makes me feel a little safer in that I reck’n someone linked the the homepage would flag up on Amazons side.

2:open up your text editor and type in the following:
    Code:
    Redirect/randomimagename.jpghttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FI73MA?ie=UTF8&tag=YOURAFFILIATEIDHERE&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000FI73MA

Like I said earlier, we are going to be stuffing an image so find yourself an image signature and name it anything you want. Change randomimagename.jpg from the code to whatever you have named your jpg.

3: Open up your FTP client and log into your website. Find the file call .htaccess, with hostgator it is in the Public_html directory, it could be there for you, or in the root directory if you have a VPN. If you can’t find it leave a support ticket for your host to tell you where it is located. When you find that file in the FTP client, drag it to your desktop folder. Open the file with your text editor and paste the code we made in step 2 into it after any other code in there. Save it and re-open your FTP client

4: Delete the original .htaccess file from your website and replace it with the one from your desktop, upload the image to the same directory and close your FTP client. You are done, that’s all there is to it.

Now access a forum, chatroom, social networking site or any other sites that will allow you to post HTML. In this tutorial I will go for a forum, most forums use BBCode which do allow images to be used:
    Code:
    [X]http://yourdomain/yourjpg.jpg[/X]

Replace both the X’s in the code with img.

    That’s it, you are done.

I have typed this out twice now ‘cos I got tired and pressed the back button on my browser and lost everything, so I’m tired, if I have missed anything let me know and I will change it.

Just remember you are going to need to hide this somehow unless you want to get a quich ban

So the next step is cloaking it - what process do you use that isn't caught by aff managers?

You can blank referrer by passing the image using SSL.
