Any guide to use Charon to harvest our own proxy list?

Hi thomaz, I'm going to summarize the setting up of Charon so its quick and concise for you.


1) Download: http://www.project2025.com/Charon.zip
2) Unzip and click bull-icon
3) Click General Options and make sure the following are checked:
Check IP before starting test/Check validity of proxyjudge before test/Resolve proxies to IP upon loading/Save proxy list on exiting
4) Under Connect Options, check against Imageshack - ipcommsnet.jpg
/i/03connectwh7.png/ to make sure everything is the same.
5) Filter options: Imageshack - generatorf.jpg
6) Update your external judges by overwriting the planetlab.ini file in your charon folder with info from Planetlab/CoDeeN Filter/Exclusion List - Proxy List Forum
7) Go to
More proxies to exclude - Proxy List Forum
Open notepad, copy all the IPs in the above post, and paste them into the notepad file. Save it as "UniqueInternetServices.ini" and place it into the filterfiles folder in your charon folder and you're good to go. Don't forget to restart Charon and select it.
8) Once restarted, go to Judge Options. Visit Proxy Judges - Proxy List Forum and select all of the judges labeled "AZ Environment variables 1.04". After copying the judges, right-click the Proxy Judges window in Charon and select "Paste judges from clipboard. When that's sorted, click "Remove Duplicates" and then "Test Judges". You want to use the single most reliable and low-pinging azenv1.04 judge on the list, so find whichever one that is for you right-click it from the bottom list to the top. You need to choose just one but make sure its Azenv1.04.
8) You're done! Load up your proxy list and select "Check anonymity of all proxies".

Why JUDGE list will be auto reset once if i close charon and reopen again?

Nope, all judges/settings will be saved. Make sure you unzip the charon zip into its own folder first though.
